Doors open at 8AM for Coffee & Tea
Lectures begin at 9AM

There are many hotels and rentals nearby. We can assist with recommendations. For students that wish to car pool  or share rentals, we will share contact information with permission. 

Lunches are served each day at the mansion. Breakfasts and Dinners are your responsibility.

This is a 4 day intensive workshop with lectures and distillation demonstrations

Topics

In this 4 day intensive we will lecture in the mornings and do distillation and demonstrations in the afternoons.

We will cover specialty distillations including different resins, codistillations and secondary products from distillations.

We will cover current research on hydrolats, assessing papers, novel components and more.

We will  cover the importance of still design and condensers, condensing temperatures.

We will cover some botany and secretory cells, volatile organic components and how they influence our distillation. 

We will cover harvest timing and its influence on the end products.

We will cover business models and sustainability of distillation.
