Doors open at 8AM for Coffee & Tea
Lectures begin at 9AM

There are many hotels and rentals nearby. We can assist with recommendations. For students that wish to car pool  or share rentals, we will share contact information with permission. 

Lunches are served each day at the mansion. Breakfasts and Dinners are your responsibility.

First Day: We will meet at Bozarth mansion and take a bus to  Morning Myst Botanics organic farm in Northport, WA where we will spend the day learning and harvesting.

Second- Fourth Day:
We will meet each morning at Bozarth Mansion

You will work with your team (no more than 5) and distill your harvests.  You will have an opportunity to distill on three styles of stills and do both hydro-distillation and steam distillation.

This is a 4 day intensive workshop with lectures and distillation demonstrations

Topics

In this 4 day intensive, we will begin with a tour of an organic farm.  We will harvest the plants you will distill.

In the mornings I will lecture on the basics of distillation, including responsibilities, botany and different techniques.

In the afternoon you will distill with your team on a different still each afternoon. 3 days, 3 different styles. 

You will do a hydro-distillation and a steam distillation.

You will get plenty of hands on experience as you will run the still from start to finish including clean up.

You will take home samples of all the distillations.
